Here we are at the end of the walk at a pub that likes to change it's name! It started life as a Black Horse then became the Proud Perch and is now called the Black Horse again!

Transport Mural
We think that this mural on the wall is harking back to the railway works that used to be around here.
Aqueduct
This is a view of the Great Ouse below the Ouse Aqueduct.
This picture shows the canal in the aqueduct and the Great Ouse below.
Traditional Country Church
This was supposed to be a picture of Angela and a lovely church but you can't see the church very well .....
.... so we took this photo without her.
Another Arm?
This is the site of the former Old Stratford and Buckingham branch. Unlike most of the other arms this one cannot be renovated as the A5 bypass was built across its bed near Old Stratford.
The Navigation
We sheltered under a bridge until the rain stopped and then carried on walking until we reached this pub and sat out in the sunshine for an orange juice and lime and soda. That's British weather for you.
Rain, Rain Go Away
The first bit of rain since we started walking the Grand Union Canal. I know we shouldn't complain but we did!
Start of the Northern Section
Here we are in July ready to start off on the Northern Section of the Grand Union Canal. We will end this section in Birmingham but today we are setting off from Stoke Locks in Northamptonshire.
