Camera Problems

No we haven't become incredibly lazy.  Unfortunately the memory card in my camera got corrupted and so the only photo we have of this lovely walk was at the end when we were relaxing in the Heron's Nest where we stayed the night before our last walk into Birmingham.

Here is the tale of the walk without photos:

We started off the day in Wycombe in the rain and with bus on rail replacement so that our journey started on a coach with a rather erratic driver who we could see fidgeting all the time (note to self don't sit at the front of the coach in future).

Then after a much shorter train ride than expected we arrived at Warwick Parkway and started walking along by the canal.  The Hatton locks started straightaway and were a truly memorable sight.  There are 21 altogether and it was very busy with boats around here as going through the locks is hard work and so the best way of doing them is for as many boats as possible to go through together thereby sharing the work load.

We also encountered another tunnel on this leg and for us pedestrians it was necessary to go over the top when we encountered the village street.  We were wondering where to go next when we suddenly spotted our path exactly opposite with a small tunnel for us to go through.
