We're Back Down South

When we were walking the southern section of the Grand Union canal we decided that we would return to walk the arms that we passed by.

Here we are on the way to the Slough Arm Brendan tried to drop us off as near to the start of the arm as possible but we kept encountering obstacles - locked gates, industrial estates with high fences etc.  This starting place proved to be the best.  There was a pub just over the bridge so Brendan had a coffee and we went to the toilet before setting off.  It was only a short walk along the tow path before we reached the start of the Slough arm.
